Large established, property owner in Westchester County seeks hands-on building superintendent.

General Responsibilities: To provide daily onsite maintenance for Westchester residential property in Port Chester, NY.

Reports To: Property Manager

Specific Responsibilities:

• Complete all work orders, daily maintenance
• Respond to emergency calls
• Maintain building in clean condition at all times, including common areas and parking lots
• Communicate effectively with property manager, tenants and vendors
• Complete or supervise repairs as needed
• Review and be responsible for security
• Inspect and insure cleanliness of building

Qualifications:

• Should have 5-10 years' experience in building maintenance
• Driver’s License and personal transportation
• Strong “handyman” skills in a variety of trades i.e. painting, minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience
• Subject to background

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
