Summer School Instructor (part-time) – JUVENILE DETENTION CENTER

Columbia, MO

25 hours a week, 5 hours per day Monday through Friday.

Wage is $23.09 - $24.53 an hour.

We are looking for an energetic person to serve as part time Summer School Instructor for youth in a juvenile detention center. In this job you will provide instruction and assistance in various academic curriculum. Instructor is responsible for curriculum development.

Direct Care staff are present during instruction to directly supervise the residents in the detention center. Instruction is generally held Monday through Friday. Dates of school session will be approximately June 5, 2023 – July 28, 2023

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
• Missouri Teaching Certificate or verification of eligibility of a MO teaching certificate.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Be free from illegal drugs.
• Clean background check.
