Local organization is growing & they are in search of their next Corporate Counsel to manage real estate transactions related to the development, financing, construction, and operation of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an exciting opportunity and multi-faceted role in which you will provide leadership for projects at all phases of the development life cycle. Responsibilities:Draft real estate contracts for renewable energy projects during development, construction, and operation phases.Negotiate leases and other real estate agreements with landowners and their attorneys.Review title commitments, proformas, ALTA surveys, and oversee title curative work for project financing.Collaborate with title companies and lenders’ counsel to fulfill requirements leading to project financing.Lead real estate efforts for project finance, responding to due diligence requests from lenders and investors.Maintain positive interactions with landowners and their attorneys, representing the company positively.Coordinate with GIS, engineering, and development teams throughout renewable energy project phases.Provide legal support for property administration, leasing, and title analysts.
