We are in search of a Senior Accountant to be a part of our team in Asheboro, North Carolina. This role primarily involves a range of accounting duties, including month-end closing, preparing bank reconciliations, and maintaining customer ledgers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring timely payments of property and sales taxes and providing support to our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end closing processes

• Prepare bank reconciliations for various companies

• Maintain customer ledgers, including posting monthly rent, miscellaneous charges, and late fees

• Review and execute tenant settlements

• Research and resolve issues in our ERP system

• Provide support to the team, ensuring all property tax & sales tax are paid in a timely manner

• Prepare and distribute intercompany reports

• Ensure payments via different methods are processed correctly by the front office

• Utilize QuickBooks

• Maintain all tax schedules and ensure they are updated regularly

Requirements:

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Minimum of three years of experience in accounting roles.

• Expertise in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

• Strong knowledge of General Ledger Management.

• Proficiency in creating and managing Journal Entries.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Month End Close procedures.

• Ability to prepare Monthly Financial Statements and Journal Entries.

• Familiarity with General Ledger System.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
