Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and machinery to identify areas for improvement and suggest modifications or upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks performed, including the date, time, and cost of repairs.
• Communicate with management and other team members to provide updates on maintenance activities and coordinate repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment and machinery to identify the root cause of the issue and develop effective solutions.
• May also be responsible for assisting with other tasks around the job site, such as manual labor and cleaning.

Qualifications: 

• Must have 1 year of experience in a Rock Quarry Plant or Ready-Mix Plant. Repair, weld, and torch experience preferred.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Some electrical knowledge/experience
• Attention to detail.
• Requires physical strength and hand-eye coordination.
• The ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols

Education and Experience: 

• A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Standing for prolonged periods

• Works in many different weather conditions

 Pay depends on experience
