We are currently seeking Print Shop Support - General Laborers experienced in traffic sign production to join our team at our shop in Upper Marlboro, MD. Our Print Shop Support laborers set up and utilize sign maker computers to produce custom signs and graphics, help prepare sign orders, assign work and monitor the progress of the team, help keep an inventory of stock, and perform a variety of general shop duties. Those who have experience in traffic sign production, or with Flexi and Graphtec are encouraged to apply!
The starting pay is $21.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience. We offer 100% paid on-the-job training!

What You'll Do:

• Take sign orders from customers and input them using Vista by Viewpoint
• Gather, lift, and carry inventory items such as reflective sheeting, aluminum blanks, tools and finished signs, etc.
• Assign work and monitor progress to keep production work flowing smoothly
• Set up and utilize sign maker computer to produce custom signs and graphics
• Mark, position, and apply letters to sign face.
• Inventory control and maintenance
• Coordinate installation orders with Project Managers
• Hold daily safety meetings with direct reports
• Clean shop and maintain cleanliness

What We Need from You:

• Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Spreadsheets is required
• Experience working in traffic sign production is highly preferred
• Experience with Flexi and / or Graphtec is highly preferred
• Dependable and reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Comfortable working in a warehouse-type environment
