SUMMARY We are currently seeking a full-time Receiving/Inventory Team Lead for our Closed-Door Pharmacy at our Phoenix location(s). This role reports to the supervisor and helps monitor activities for the team, initially handles escalations for the team, and trains other employees as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate with the Procurement department to list expected deliveries Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt Unload packages from incoming trucks Works within and meets all established departmental production standards, which include inspecting contents to ensure no damage and verifying packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.) Contact the Supply Chain if a mistake is identified Maintains an efficient and organized stock room/warehouse where products are stored according to specifications, including labeling deliveries and using RF scanners to manage inventory. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control. Will communicate with Procurement regarding problems such as short dates and outdates Responsible for following all of Covetrus's safety practices, including, but not limited to equipment, building, and general safety Assist Management in Implementing Best Practices and SOPs Manage Inventory Exception queues. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Team Lead experience preferred. COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES) Self-starter, able to work effectively with general direction and supervision Basic math and recording abilities Excellent organizational skills Strong written, oral, and reading communication skills in order to accurately obtain, interpret, and transcribe a variety of communications Proficient in all MS Office Applications Ability to teach, guide, develop and lead a team Ability to align company goals and track performance against goals Multitask oriented with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and take pride in one’s work PHYSICAL WORK DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT: Warehouse and pharmacy environment with extensive computer use. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk; use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations; finger dexterity is required, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, or reaching. The employee may occasionally lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
