Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced contract Mobile Service Technician to join our growing team of service providers. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy, medium, and light duty vehicles, and heavy equipment as needed. This is a contract position with above-market compensation.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty vehicles, trailers, and equipment
- Perform tasks including battery jump-starts, fuel deliveries, tire changes, lock-out services, and mechanical repairs in a non-repair facility environment
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, professional work environment
- Collaborate with dispatch, customers, and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and minimum downtime
- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed, including tasks performed, plus accurate accounting of service vehicle mileage, job hours, and timekeeping

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, air systems, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Required Tools (Minimum):

-1/2 Ton (or larger) truck

-Commercial Auto and General Liability with $1M in coverage. (we will provide all other necessary coverage while you're under our dispatch)

-1/2" electric impact wrench, plus standard and metric sockets of appropriate sizes

-Mechanic's tools to include wrenches, pliers, hammers, electrical tools, pry bars, etc.

-Battery jump pack or heavy-duty jumper cables

-Lock-out kit to unlock doors

-(2) 5 gallon fuel cans - 1 for unleaded, 1 for diesel. (Transfer tanks are ideal for diesel deliveries)
