Position Overview: School Health Nursing in Pediatrics

As a School Health Nurse, you will be stationed in either a school health office or supporting a student 1:1, delivering essential healthcare services such as first aid, diabetic management, g tube feeding and more. This role is tailored for nurses seeking a joyful, low-stress environment conducive to the well-being of both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first aid care to students and staff

Manage diabetic care for students

Collaborate with school staff to enhance overall student health and functionality

Pay Rates

• RN: $36-41
• LPN: $29-31

Minimum Qualifications for Nurses:

• Valid RN License
• Current CPR/BLS Card
• Current Negative TB Result

Experience:
No previous experience required, but experience in the following is a plus

• Seizure Disorders
• Diastat Experience
• Insulin Injections or Insulin Pumps
• Providing medication to students
• G-tube feeds & medications
• Ability to handle behavior issues
• Tracheostomy experience
