We are hiring full/part time entry level and experienced behavioral therapists to build a career in a school setting. Your day-to-day consists of helping students with behavior plans, implementing behavior interventions, de-escalating tantrums, and basic instructional support. We are all looking for hard-working and compassionate individuals from diverse backgrounds to assist our kiddos in school settings. We staff all levels K-12 and higher education! Free ABA training is available upon request. Ro Health is committed to promoting our instructional aides into RBTs within their first year of employment. Must be available during school hours (8am-3pm) but this may vary and we can accommodate part-time schedules.

This position will begin in ASAP and would be 6-7 hours/day, 5 days a week M-F. This position will involve working in close proximity to teachers and providing behavioral support to students when applicable.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Implement behavior treatment programs as designed by the Behavior Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Take data on student performance to monitor behavior or skilled based progress
• Assist students in achieving academic success
• Personal care
• Collaborate with special education/general education teachers, administrators and Behavior Analysts
• Perform related duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• the ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable Transportation and Communication

Preferred Skills

• Previous ABA experience
• Professional experience working with kids in a classroom or 1:1 setting
• Associates Degree preferred
• CPR and First Aid Certified - will provide assistance in acquiring CPR and First Aid certification
