We are looking for at least a one-year commitment for this position with consistent hours throughout the year. This position is Part-time, ranging between 20-35 hours a week.
We are a locally-owned retail shoe-fitting store. RnJ is helping to keep feet injury-free based on a detailed shoe-fitting service. We are a Specialty Running retail store that specializes in fitting shoes for runners & walkers to the proper specifications of the foot with comfort & support in mind.
We do shoes, but not the ones you're thinking about. These are technical running shoes, designed to help bad feet feel good. These are the ones you'd never pick on your own because they're designed to work with particular foot profile in mind.
Our sales position requires a straight-forward, but delicate approach to our customers. We are telling people what they don't want to hear about their feet and the corrective shoes they have to wear. We do this in order to solve a lot of foot pain, but it is rewarding when they feel the difference in their day-to-day lives.
This is a position for a candidate who really likes helping others. This position requires a high-level of patience, patience, and more patience. be engaged in a one-on-one fitting with each customer that will last 30-60 minutes. You will be speaking most of the duration of the interaction, as education is what we have to offer to enable a proper shoe fitting.
We are in our 47th year of operation and are fanatics about the details so our customers can get out there to walk, run, & enjoy their time in our shoes without pain or injury.
This is definitely a job where you will be engaged in work related activities during the entire duration of the day.
