Job Details:

• Position: Pathology Assistant/Pathology Technician
• Location: Westwood, NJ 07675
• Duration: 13 Weeks with possible extension
• Shift: Mid 5x4-Hour (14:00 - 18:00)
• Guaranteed Hours: 20

Laboratory - Pathology Assistant

• The schedule is 5 days a week, 4 hours per day for 20 hours per week.
• The times are flexible based on the availability of the potential candidate, but late afternoon is preferable.
• Monday through Friday is the best, but again we can be a bit flexible based on the availability of the candidate.
• Documentation: EPIC
• Years experience required: 1 year
• Unit accepts 1st time travelers: yes

Skills Required:

• Hospital clinical laboratory,
• Macroscopic description of gross anatomic features
• Prepares tissues for histological processing
• Sectioning surgical pathology specimens
• Specimen receipt and labeling
• Gross/microscopic photography
• Obtain/review patient clinical information
• Frozen sections

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
