**Introduction:**

RM Biltrite is looking for an effective Warehouse Supervisor to direct receiving, warehousing, shipping, and overall

distribution operations in our new Columbus, Ohio facility. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-

adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. You will work closely with our customer service and

accounting teams from our home office in Atlanta, GA. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets

are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

**Experience:**

* Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor

* Expertise in warehouse management procedures, inventory control, and best practices

* Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

* Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

* Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

* Safety Management

**Responsibilities:**

* Strategically manage daily warehouse activities in compliance with companys policies and vision

* Maintain optimal receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations by initiating and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

* Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts to ensure efficient space utilization

* Comply with federal, state, and local warehouse, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying new and existing legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions

* Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene; safeguards warehouse contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

* Manage customer service requests promptly and resolves issues quickly

* Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and transport companies

* Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and follow-up to appraise results

* Recruit, select, orient, coach, train, and motivate employees

* Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage systems

* Monitor reports and statistics regularly (Ins/Outs, dead stock, damaged inventory, etc.)

* Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse

* Regularly Inspect equipment; issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

* Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and a clean and tidy workspace is kept at all times

* Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

* Coordinate and oversee all warehouse logistics

* Supervise and direct warehouse staff; put worker safety as a top priority

* Track and account for all incoming and outgoing products

* Confirm proper and timely delivery of products

* Perform various inventory counts; order supplies and goods as needed

* Supervise all forklift operations

* Maintain shipping documentation, manifests, and receipts; enter relevant data in reports as needed

* Ensure that shipment materials match packing lists before dispatching orders

* Ensure proper transport, packaging, and placement of products

* Motivate and lead warehouse staff to effectively carry out given tasks

* Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system

**Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule**

$50,000.00 to $57,500.00 Annually

Work Schedules: 7:00am 4:00pm Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch)
