RMA is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Assistant for our Urology department, who will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and Thursday from 9:00am-5:00pm at the Basking Ridge location.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with clinical procedures
• Accurately document ultrasound report in stim sheet
• Identify specimen for insemination
• Maintain sterile technique
• Perform routine patient assessment
• Clean exam rooms promptly
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory
• Manage lanfax for outside labs, reports, results, prescriptions refills
• Enter all labs and outside reports
• Comfort patients by anticipating patient’s anxieties; answering patient’s questions
• Assure quality care by adhering to therapeutic standards
• Maintain an excellent rapport and working relationship with multidisciplinary teams within the Practice

Requirements:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program required; State certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Women’s Healthcare background preferred
• Excellent computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel
• EMR experience preferred
• Strong phlebotomy skills
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
