Champs Chicken Cook/Cashier

Position Summary:

Champs Chicken Cook/Cashier goes above and beyond to exceed expectations and ensure that all guest experience genuine customer service, great tasting food and leave with a smile.

Job duties also include:

• Interacting with customers
• Maintaining cleanliness
• Taking and filling customer orders
• Completing transactions on the cash register.
• Executing all work tasks according to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Preparing, seasoning and cooking food to specification

Job Expectations:

• Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
• Greet all customers with a sincere smile, making them feel welcome.
• Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve customer complaints, and courteously address customer questions, comments or
• suggestions.
• Prepare and cook all food product per specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Verify all necessary product and supplies are stocked and available.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, coolers and other food storage areas while following all of
• the sanitation and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Check all equipment and immediately report malfunctions within the area to the manager in charge.
• Filter and clean all fryers at the designated times while following all safety guidelines.
• Accomplish tasks in a timely, clean and orderly manner.
• Maintains a working knowledge of the operation of all kitchen equipment
• Fill customer orders using proper portion control and packaging.
• Use sampling, upselling, and limited time offer promotions to increase sales volume of products.
• Work with the kitchen to ensure that food is cooked to adequately fill the hot case with fresh food.
• Monitor the product hold times are strictly observed and rotate product as necessary.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the hot case area and other food storage areas while following all of
• the sanitation and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Set up and close down the hot case and immediately reports any malfunctions within the area to the manager in charge.
• Stock the service area with adequate packaging, utensils and dipping sauces.

Physical: : Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
