Job Purpose: To operate Reach Trucks and EPJs (walkies) safely and efficiently; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; ensure all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; perform duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities. Work from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders. Maintain forklift and walkies safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick product from inventory for order fulfillment.
• Drive Reach Trucks and EPJs (walkies).
• Assemble individual packages into ship ready orders.
• Move stock to proper warehouse locations.
• Learn day to day warehouse operations.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• Verify orders are complete and accurate.
• Pick each customer order in the most effective manner possible to minimize shipping costs and insure product safety.
• Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Possess a sense of urgency, accountability, and be able to work with limited supervision.
• General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
• Ability to work as pat of a team.
• He / she must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Attention to detail and quality a must.
• Good communication, clear and concise, problem resolution, and people skills.
• Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts.
• PC skills helpful.
• Major experience on Reach Trucks and EPJs (walkies).
• Experience in building pallets with stock and breaking down stock to fill independent orders.
• Experienced in cross docking freight process.
• Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse.

Qualifications:

• 1 years forklift driving experience in a warehouse using Reach Trucks and EPJs (walkies).
• Good stable work and attendance record.

Education and/or Experience Required:

• High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Warehousing certifications a plus.
