We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team. As a Dental Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient processing of insurance claims and providing excellent support to our patients by verifying insurance coverage, processing claims, and resolving insurance-related issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Verify insurance eligibility and coverage for patients.
2. Submit and process insurance claims electronically or by mail.
3. Follow up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely payment.
4. Resolve billing and insurance-related issues with patients and insurance companies.
5. Educate patients on their insurance benefits and coverage.
6. Keep abreast of changes in insurance policies and procedures.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient insurance records.
8. Work closely with the dental office team to support patient scheduling and treatment planning.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator or in a similar role within a dental office.
2. Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, procedures, and terminology.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Proficiency in dental practice management software and insurance billing systems.
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Knowledge of CDT codes and dental terminology is a plus.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or certification in dental assisting or healthcare administration is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
