Riviera Smiles is Hiring a Business Manager - Healthcare - Dental Near Santa Barbara, CA

Our team is looking for an upbeat, highly organized, get-it-done with type of person with strong leadership, customer service and communication skills to manage all administrative operations in our office and ensure high quality service to our amazing patients and increased business productivity.

Experience in healthcare administration or management is preferred but not required. 

You will report directly to the practice owner and help them develop policies, make sure the practice is expanding, and make sure the whole team is working together. Your purpose is to hire and train the team on office policy and job responsibilities, monitor productivity, ensure there is a smooth patient flow, and maintain an efficient and productive working environment. The ideal candidate would have working experience with statistics or KPI’s, and they would have a very good understanding of managing staff.

Duties include:

  • Ensure that all areas of the practice are running smoothly.
  • Coordinate and handle the day-to-day execution of office practices that increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Handle daily administrative issues that do not require assistance or attention from the practice owner
  • Handle the maintenance, and equipment of the practice.
  • Manage marketing.
  • Guarantee office productivity, develop and manage all internal office procedures.
  • Maintain the clinic’s cash control, staff schedules, general ledger, and billing system.
  • Respond to clinical and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Create and implement an effective office budget which includes the budget, A/R, payroll.
  • Handle inventory, suppliers, insurance, and ordering.
  • Recruit, hire, train and handle personnel.
  • Deliver direct individual and team leadership to ensure all office employees produce outstanding client service.
  • Update and maintain training manuals, coordinate training for the employees, and evaluate employee efficiency.
  • Supervise patient record documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Ensure safety protocol compliance ( Infection Control, OSHA, etc)
