Alteryx Designer

Location: Houston- Texas

Duration: 6 Months

Preferred local consultants

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Alteryx platform to streamline data workflows and automate business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data challenges.
• Design and develop Alteryx workflows to automate data preparation, blending, and analysis processes.
• Build and maintain data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop complex calculations and formulas within Alteryx to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to users of the Alteryx platform.
• Troubleshoot issues and analyze root causes to identify and resolve data-related problems.
• Please stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to data analytics and Alteryx development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with other analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikSense is a plus.
• Alteryx Designer/Advanced/Expert certification
