Rivian Automotive is Hiring a Staff Software Security Engineers Near Palo Alto, CA

Staff Software Security Engineers with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Palo Alto, CA. Work with engineering teams during design and development to align with company SDLC framework. Perform cybersecurity assessments, including code reviews, architecture reviews, and threat modeling. Configure and manage application security tools SAST and DAST. Build tools to assist in the automation of testing and compliance activities. Automate security capabilities across application teams. Communicate security findings to the application team in a timely manner. Establish Policies and processes to standardize handling security findings. Participate in security tool evaluations. Collaborate with other cyber security units to secure the Rivian applications.
RQMTS: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a closely related field and 1 year of experience in any occupation involving software security engineering. Experience must include implementing secure SDLC practices; Performing vulnerability assessments, and reviewing code for Java, Python, Scripting languages, static/dynamic code analysis; Customizing and automating security tools SAST, DAST, IAST, and SCA; Developing DevSecOps capability by integrating security tools, code analyzers, and security automation tools into the pipeline; and developing policies, standards, and procedures that enables easy visibility into software security risk to appropriate stakeholders.
