Rivet Events is an Atlanta-based Wedding and Entertainment company that exists to make memories last forever. We do this through Photography, Videography, DJ, Photobooth, and event planning services that help create a stress-free wedding or event experience. THE ROLE AND WHY IT'S IMPORTANT

At Rivet Events, client experience is of the utmost importance. As the Operations Leader, you will help support the functioning of the company and team, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for clients and team members alike. You will support the client experience by ensuring prompt and accurate onboarding for all new clients. You’ll support the GM by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring Rivet’s teams receive payments & reimbursements. You will lead the sales team by communicating expectations and helping event specialists refine their language and practices. You’ll help potential clients understand the value Rivet offers and discern which services are best for them. You'll display enthusiasm and optimism to serve couples throughout the process!

The Operations and Sales Assistant is critical in ensuring teams & clients have a quality experience through precise and prompt record keeping and reporting. The OSA must be attentive to detail and be able to consistently complete tasks on time. They must have demonstrated clear communication skills, desire for excellence, and an interest in problem solving.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL INCLUDE:

Operations:

• Promptly & accurately onboard new clients into Rivet’s database.
• Work with sales & creative teams to monitor “Hot Dates” and “Blackout Dates” when Rivet’s team has limited to no availability for events. Ensure all teams have accurate & updated information around this.
• Ensure the client database accurately reflects signed contracts. Complete Monthly contract checks to confirm accuracy.
• Assist with bookkeeping and tracking transactions.
• Manage and update protocols and systems for the team at the direction of the General Manager.
• Provide prompt and accurate payroll reporting to GM for staff and contractors.
• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day operations of the company including (but not limited to):
• Maintaining project timelines across departments to ensure tasks are accomplished on time
• Maintaining and improving, as needed, workflows and systems to optimize performance.
• Delegating responsibilities to the best employees to perform them
• Maintaining budgetary and resource allocation plans and providing other financial updates

Sales

• Promptly and accurately import leads from sales funnels into Rivet’s sales systems.
• Assign new leads to Event Specialists.
• Conduct sales outreach through phone calls and emails for 3, 3-hour segments each week.

Events

• Lead event experiences through your choice as a DJ, Videographer, Photographer, or Wedding Planner.

What a typical week looks like:

• Events Service Delivery - 8-16 hours weekly
• Operations Support - 20 hours
• Sales - 9 hours

Reports To: General Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $40,000 base

$10,000 - $30,000 in commission

• 8-14 bookings monthly
• 8 - $1,280
• 11 - $1,760
• 14 - $2,240
• An additional 1%-3% of sales revenue is paid out quarterly based on goals
• 1-3% is based on goal tier system
• ex. 10 bookings/month would be $1,600 in commission and an additional $2,880 quarterly
• Quarterly bonus for Sales team hitting monthly goals for the quarter

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
