In this position as a mental health therapist they will be is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, and or family conflict. 

They are required to be familiar positive psychological approach to therapy and mental health counseling. Under the direction of Trish Henrie-Barrus Ph.D additional training will be available to augment the experience and skill of the candidate in positive psychology treatment approaches. Dr. Barrus developed the positive psychology program at the University of Utah and is leading research and publications in positive psychology and ketamine treatments. 

This position would also included working in our ketamine clinic supporting our ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) program following training. 

A Master degree in Social Work or Psychology along with independent licenses such as an LMFT, LICSW or LPCC are required. Successful mental health therapists are deeply compassionate and possess excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
