Riverwood Healthcare Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team in the Same Day Clinic. Build relationships with your patients, experience a high level of collaboration with colleagues and onsite specialists and provide exceptional care in a forward-thinking, cutting-edge facility.
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is responsible for providing same-day clinic services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients.
Education And ExperienceSuccessful completion of accredited advanced practitioner training or physician assistant training program. Board certification as a practitioner (family or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program or national certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Three to four years of healthcare experience, plus a minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferable in a Same Day Clinic or Urgent Care setting. State license and DEA required.
