Job Overview

We are looking for a full-time Utility Coordinator to join our Construction Brand, with a focus on utilities- water, sewer, and storm.

Job Responsibilities

  • Embrace and lead with the Core Values of our company
  • Lead and assist utility crews on water, sewer, and storm projects
  • Coordinate complex utility jobs
  • Assist in material procurement and managing materials, equipment, etc.
  • Track and manage crew production and working/developing schedules to meet deadlines
  • Regard safety as the highest priority and follow all company, jobsite, and regulatory safety guidelines
  • Train and develop new crew members
  • Plan and conduct morning Job Safety Analysis huddles to ensure the crew understands the hazards of the day
  • Oversee timecard entry daily
  • Operate equipment, as needed
  • Manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards at all times
  • Report incidents immediately in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company
  • Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, digging trenches, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of utility experience is required
  • Experience with water, sewer, and storm drain installation
  • Must have strong coordination, time management, active listening, communication, critical thinking and reasoning skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for a minimum of 3 years
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and stoop, bend, and crouch as required
  • Capability to lift and carry, frequently, at least 20 pounds and, at times, up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces, including ground in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to maintain constant awareness to multiple concurrent activities of a construction site

Compensation

Compensation will be discussed in the interview process based on experience and skill level.
