Our client, fortune 500 financial enterprise is seeking a Operations Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have database experience, technically sound person and a team player which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operations Engineer

Location: Charlotte NC

Pay Range: 40-44$/HR on W2

What’s the Job?

• Lead or triage major incidents management.
• Perform problem management to identify root cause and preventative actions.
• Monitor application health and reduce alerts and failures and monitor batch and feed management.
• Investigate and troubleshoot failures and support disaster recovery exercise.
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery and resolve troublesome trends as they develop.

What’s Needed?

• 3 years experience in at least 2 databases: Ab initio, Teradata, Hadoop or Oracle.
• 3 years experience in AUTOSYS.
• 3 years experience in Unix shell scripting.
