As an Outreach Director, you will spearhead our mission in your region. Your role is critical – from building relationships with potential partners and raising essential donations to managing and expanding your team. You will organize and schedule outreach events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. This position involves creating and maintaining relationships with golf course partners, hiring and managing a team, hosting outreach events at our golf course partners and beyond, and identifying community outreach programs to engage local veterans and first responders.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate outreach team activities.
  • Establish territories, quotas, and goals for the outreach team.
  • Analyze outreach statistics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting.
  • Report on team and individual performance.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee a training program for outreach staff to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Work closely with the executive team to contribute to strategic planning and policy development.
  • Regularly liaise with key community stakeholders to inform them of our activities and foster strong collaborative relationships.
  • Develop and execute innovative outreach strategies.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • Experience as a supervisor or manager.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Experience managing outreach or community-based initiatives within the non-profit sector is a significant asset.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, adapt to changing circumstances, and respond to new needs.
  • A joy for golf and understanding how it can serve as a medium for outreach and community-building.
