RiverStone is currently hiring for a Quality Control Technician in the general Quad City IA/IL area. This position will ensure that aggregate rock from our various quarries meets the standards set by the respective state from which it was mined. The position is generally Monday through Friday, though some Saturdays may be required from time to time, given the time of year or business needs. Major Quality Control responsibilities include:

• Obtains samples and performs tests, calculations and inspections of construction aggregate produced at our Quad City LaSalle area operations
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records according to established procedures
• Assists in the operation, maintenance and control of test equipment to ensure accuracy and precision
• Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly

The ideal Quality Control candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Safety-Focused
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivate, ability to work independently
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Must have valid Driver’s License and good driving record
• Ability to lift heavy samples up to 75 pounds
• Will be required to pass and/or maintain Certified Aggregate Technician training for ILDOT and IADOT.
