Riverside Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Printer Repair Technician. If you like working in a fast-paced environment and have great customer service skills, we welcome your application!

As a Printer Repair Technician/Help Desk Support, you will be providing onsite printer support. In this role, you’ll provide technical assistance and support for issues related to printer systems and hardware. Plus, you’ll be responsible for communicating with the customer about repair steps you’ve taken, parts you’ve ordered, and time estimated until completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repairing printer equipment at customer sites within our Service Level Agreement
• Communicating accurately, concisely, and professionally with the customer as to important repair steps taken, parts ordered, and time estimated until completion
• Providing technical assistance and support for incoming issues related to printer systems and hardware
• Responding to inquiries from customers seeking assistance and walking customer through problem-solving process
• Installing, modifying, and repairing computer hardware and software
• Running diagnostic programs to identify problems with computer systems
• Developing a working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures
• Performing quality checks on all documents scanned and prepped records to ensure accuracy and correcting any quality issues as needed
• Preparing product for delivery and ensuring all project documentation is complete
• Complying with daily maintenance and safety checks of all equipment
• Detecting image errors and determining/documenting the cause of the errors detected during QC
• Managing customer relationships to ensure highest satisfaction
• Installing new equipment at customer sites as required
• Installing upgrades, firmware, and consumables
• Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

• A certification preferred
• Ability to travel when required
• Sense of urgency, organizational skills, professional presence, and teamwork skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability and desire to travel when job requires
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Must have ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check
• Must have exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license
