Summary:
The Housekeeper I maintains the interior in a safe, neat environment and sanitary condition for our patients, their families, staff, physicians, and management. Responds to requests that are within housekeeper's responsibility or notifies appropriate personnel to perform request.
Experience/Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
License or Certification Requirements:
- None
Responsibilities:
- Assists with special set-ups, construction projects, etc.
- Cleans call room daily, including replacing bed linens and daily linen needs.
- Daily stocking of supplies.
- Performs daily cleaning in patient rooms and ancillary areas.
- Performs terminal cleaning assignments.
- Police cleaning.
- Responsible for care and cleaning of equipment and housekeeping closet.
- Responsible for maintaining pagers, coding and de-coding of alarms and keys.
