Sign-On Bonus! $600/Full-Time (after 6 months in good standing)

Salary: $17 to $18.70 an hour.

Schedule: Tuesday -Saturday 6:30am-2:30pm

Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of elementary school or proof of equivalent knowledge. Good manual dexterity. Physical stamina, energy and coordination. Ability to stand for major part of work day. Ability to work in occasionally hot/humid conditions. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to run or walk a distance of approximately 25 yards to assist with resident emergencies or for building evacuations.

Duties:

1. Clean assigned areas of the building.

2. Inspect resident rooms and common areas for needed repairs. Make recommendations to the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding findings.

3. Wash, soft & mark clean laundry and distribute to residents.

4. Prepare linens/draperies for the commercial laundry services.

5. Sort and store clean linens.

4. Maintain linen inventories. Make recommendations to the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding need for linens.

5. Repair and mend residents clothing and facility linens/draperies as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

6. Maintain facility laundry equipment and supplies.

7. Maintain general cleanliness and order of the laundry room, clean laundry room and linen storage area.

8. Complete special duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
