Riverside Eye Care is looking for a full time Ophthalmic Assistant.
No medical experience/education necessary- Riverside is looking for the right person to train. Do you want to work? We need people who want to work and be a part of our fantastic team!
As a critical member of our team, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Obtain and document patient medical information in our electronic health record system.
· Working one on one with patients to obtain a detailed history, visual acuity, refraction, and various other elements of an exam.
· Perform diagnostic testing
· Administer topical ophthalmic medications at the direction of the physician.
· Complete requests for prescriptions refills as authorized by physicians, triage patient phone calls and questions
· Scribing- working one on one with the doctor to complete exam documentation
· Assist with minor in office procedures
· Work in various positions in our outpatient surgery center.
