Summary: When assigned, manages casino cage employees settling banks and performing financial transactions for customers consistent with internal controls, policies and procedures and guest service standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• A Dual-Rate Cashiering Shift Manager will primarily act as a Cashiering Supervisor, however, in the absence of a Cashiering Shift Manager, the Dual-Rate Cashiering Shift Manager will perform the functions of the Shift Manager. The Dual Rate Cashiering Shift Manager will work an entire shift as either a Cashiering Supervisor or Cashiering Shift Manager. If the employee is needed to work an additional shift within the same day, they may dual rate up/down to the Cashiering Shift Manager/Cashiering Supervisor position only after a shift close out has occurred.
• When assigned, manages cage cashiers, assisting with guest interactions and transactions as needed as well as the operations and settlement of banks within the department.
• Responds to guest issues, concerns and complaints in a courteous manner.
• Maintains confidentiality of all guest's records and transactions.
• Writes and submits shift and other reports required to document shift activity such as customer complaints, worker and guest injuries and security incidents.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal laws and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regulations.
• Hires, trains and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental standards, policies and programs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years related money handling and supervisory experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate staff through a teamwork approach.
• Proven leadership skills that include delegating as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
