Our Interns are key drivers of our success. We are seeking professionals eager to gain knowledge and experience in investor relations as well as the overall workings of the stock market while making a strong contribution to our growing practice. At Riveron, we offer our interns the opportunity to work on small teams alongside senior partners gaining experience in consulting and client services, financial communications, industry-specific macro trends. environmental, social and governance topics related to the investor community, and investor relations data platforms.
Who You Are:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Communication or related field
• GPA of 3.5 or above
• Must be a rising junior or senior of undergraduate studies
• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data with a working understanding of accounting, finance, or business analytics concepts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Willing to work a minimum 20-30 hours per week from June through August (with potential to extend through Fall 2024)
• Must work in-person at the Chicago office during business hours (8am-5pm CT, at least twice a week)

What You'll Do:

• Develop knowledge of our clients' corporate strategy, objectives, and challenges in order to assist with the design and execution of successful financial communications programs
• Perform industry and capital markets research, including peer analysis
• Conduct analysis on public company financials and draw conclusions
• Provide tactical support to team members on IR accounts as needed (such as earnings)
• Transcribe meetings and highlight key themes
The intern will learn about and gain in-depth experience in:

• Consulting and client services
• Financial communications
• Industry-specific macro trends
• Environmental, social, and governance topics related to the investor community
• Investor relations data platforms, such as FactSet, CapIQ, Sentieo, IR Insight, Irwin, etc.
