Senior Purchasing Agent
For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $75,000/Yr - $105,000/Yr. Compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Senior Purchasing Agent: Great opportunity to work independently, makes inventory level decisions, handles purchasing of high volume core business products. In addition, manages and negotiates rebate programs. Manages activities involved with the procuring of goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies for the organization by performing the following duties themselves or utilizing other personnel.

Job Description
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Determine method of procurement such as direct purchase or bid.Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations independently.Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.Approves invoices for payment when discrepancies arise and take appropriate corrective action.Utilizes superior knowledge, skills, experience, and abilities with regard to assigned product lines and is a recognized resource to salespeople throughout the Company.
