Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Scheduler to join our team. As a Production Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the production schedule to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of production/manufacturing management, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, forecast, and inventory levels
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth workflow and optimize production capacity
- Collaborate with purchasing and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and components
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
- Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant stakeholders
- Generate reports on production performance, including efficiency, utilization, and adherence to schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any issues or delays in the production process
Qualifications:
- Experience in scheduling, operations management, or a related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including forecasting and inventory control
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Proficient in using scheduling software or ERP systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
