River Towne Care and Rehabilitation Center, a Pyramid Healthcare facility, is located in Columbus, GA. The Center provides long-term skilled nursing care and short-term post-acute rehabilitation, including a 30-bed ventilator unit. We are committeed to the overall care of our residents through our culture, vision, and core values. 

The Nurse Supervisor is a member of the nursing leadership team and responsible for overseeing activities within the facility in the absence of the Unit Managers. The Nurse Supervisor reports directly to the Director of Nursing and indirectly to the Administrator On-Call (AOC). Performs safety, regulatory and quality improvement activities to improve outcomes for residents. Assumes responsibility of assigned residents, medication passes, and/or treatments as needed to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered at all times. 

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nurse program.

Required Minimum Experience

Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice required; preferably in a long-term care setting.

Required Minimum Certification(s)

• Current LPN or RN licensure in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Skills

• Positive leadership, problem solving skills, strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong assessment and clinical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write and follow directions to resident's needs.
• Use of Windows-based computer, utilizing electronic health records (EHR), email, internet, computer based learning modules, etc.
