Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary department. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support in meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Duties:

- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients

- Set up serving carts and dining areas for meal service

- Serve meals to residents or patients in a courteous and professional manner

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas

- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling techniques

- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating food items

- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service

Requirements:

- Previous experience in food handling or culinary roles is preferred

- Knowledge of food production techniques is a plus

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Excellent time management abilities to ensure timely meal service

- Basic understanding of food safety principles
