River Edge Behavioral Health is Hiring a Licensed Clinician - Site Supervisor Near Macon, GA

LifeSPRING of River Edge is a nationally recognized and evidence-based residential and outpatient treatment program for women seeking recovery from substance use disorder. LifeSPRING welcomes mothers, pregnant women, and women primarily of childbearing age.
LifeSPRING aids women in achieving self-sufficiency in a supportive, substance-free setting especially designed to address the unique needs of women. We offer outpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential services to include individual, family, and group sessions as well as community support, vocational services, and parenting skills development.
River Edge is actively recruiting for the role of Site Supervisor at our LifeSPRING location. This full-time position involves overseeing daily operations, coordinating program activities, and providing leadership to the site's staff. The Site Supervisor will collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment, ensure compliance with regulations, engage with clients, and report on site activities. Candidates with supervisory experience in mental health or healthcare settings and strong leadership and communication skills are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise clinical and support staff at the facility.
  • Oversee treatment plans for program participants.
  • Contact referrals and schedule intake appointments.
  • Revise client programs/groups for LSR/LSO.
  • Diagnose and document notes for all new clients (including BRR as needed).
  • Submit WTRS reports to DFCS on assessments.
  • Liaise with DFCS and other state agencies to maintain contract compliance and address programmatic needs.
  • Monitor and audit client records and utilization management.
  • Facilitate staff meetings.
  • Complete meeting minutes, agendas, supervision forms, and organizational charts.
  • Manage the intake waiting list and occupancy list.
  • Oversee the Therapeutic Childcare program and prepare monthly reports.
  • Create staffing schedules and manage timesheets.
  • Monitor peer groups and life skills training discussion topics.
  • Submit monthly organizational charts to the Leadership team.
  • Facilitate the client discharge process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field
  • Must have Associate License or Fully Licensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW) 
  • At least two (2) years supervisory experience. 
  • All applicants must pass an intensive background check and pre-employment drug test.
  • Demonstrate expertise and knowledge in mental health and substance abuse services and community resources. 
Competencies:
Supervision and Leadership: Ability to effectively supervise clinical and support staff, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility. This includes delegating tasks, providing feedback, and fostering professional development.
Treatment Planning and Evaluation: Proficiency in overseeing treatment plans for program participants, including assessing needs, developing individualized plans, and regularly evaluating progress. This involves understanding therapeutic interventions, monitoring outcomes, and adjusting plans as necessary.
Administrative and Reporting Skills: Skill in managing administrative tasks related to client intake, documentation, reporting, and compliance. This includes diagnosing and documenting client notes, submitting reports to relevant agencies, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication is essential for liaising with external agencies, coordinating referrals, and maintaining compliance with contractual obligations. Collaboration with DFCS and other state agencies requires diplomacy, negotiation skills, and the ability to build positive relationships.
Organization and Time Management: Managing multiple responsibilities, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining waiting lists, preparing reports, and overseeing staff meetings, requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Additionally, managing timesheets, staffing schedules, and peer group topics necessitates efficient time management to ensure smooth operations.
