River City Produce is currently looking for Class C drivers!
We are currently offering a $200 sign on bonus for all new drivers who stay with the company for 90 days!!! In addition to a full benefits package, Paid Time Off, a 401(k), and an amazing team to work with, we are offering starting pay from $17.00/hour to $18.00/hour for this position, depending on experience.
Job Summary:
The professional delivery driver at River City Produce is responsible for transportation of freight to and from the RCP dock. The metro driver is expected to deliver BOTH outbound and inbound freight to all RCP customers (wholesalers, retailers, schools, etc.) in accordance with established company procedure, following all safety guidelines while delivering and unloading in an efficient and timely manner. The professional driver who maintains a unexpired Drivers License (C) must also meet all with all DOT regulations while on the road.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all River City Produce metro customers.
• Transport and unload outbound freight to RCP customers in accordance with company procedure and DOT regulations, where applicable.
• Transport inbound freight (backhauls) to RCP dock in accordance with company procedure and DOT regulations, where applicable.
• Perform pre-delivery and post-delivery vehicle inspections of company vehicles.
• Work in shipping department to assist with order selection and loading as needed.
• Work in truck yard to assist with moving and refueling trucks as needed.
• Ensure all delivery paperwork is correct and all product returns are handled in accordance with company policy.
• Perform other related tasks, as requested by supervisor.
