Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses, as well as providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for eye care and enjoy helping others improve their vision, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting frames that suit their style and preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses
- Educate customers on different lens options and coatings available
- Adjust frames to ensure proper alignment and comfort
- Dispense contact lenses and provide instructions on proper use and care
- Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Keep accurate records of customer prescriptions and orders
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Optician or in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of optical products, including frames, lenses, and contact lenses
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology related to eye care
- Proficiency in using optical software systems (e.g., REV) is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ophthalmology is beneficial
- Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and senior care

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
