Job Summary Our Metal Products Facility is seeking a highly motivated individual to operate our weld robot. As a Robot Operator, you will be responsible for loading, running, and unloading production parts using established welding programs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities
Learn how to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Assist in the tack welding of assemblies
Weld components together using work instructions and fixtures
Visually inspect welds for quality and accuracy
Ensure accuracy and efficiency of weld programs
Help troubleshoot and setup new programs with lead programmer
Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner
Any additional duties as required by the Production Supervisor
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug screen
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Maintain productivity with minimal supervision
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and/or stoop during work hours
Effectively communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others
Maintain a good working relationship with customers, co-workers, supervisors, management, and other personnel
