RITZ Instrument Transformers is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Manager Near Waynesboro, GA

SUMMARY:

Ritz Instrument Transformers, Inc., an industry leader in instrument transformers, cast-coil power transformers, and solid-insulated bus systems, is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operation of our facility, infrastructure, assets, and services. In addition, determining and scheduling repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, waste reduction improvements, renovation or expansion projects. This position is responsible for safety by ensuring the facility is in compliance with OSHA, EPA and other regulatory agencies. The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing innovative and sustainable process improvements for the plant to ensure continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in high and low voltage systems, project management, electrical work, and maintenance management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees building and grounds maintenance
  • Operates and maintains custodial functions
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
  • Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
  • Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, effectively and safe.
  • Manages and reviews service contracts.
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
  • Checks completed work by vendors and contractors
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees and ensures compliance to safety policy.
  • Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management. Manage repair and maintenance budgets.
  • Establishes asset integrity by implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Ensures CMMS system integrity and manages employee compliance for labor and parts transactions.
  • Collaborates with EHS to ensure safety processes are created and maintained.
  • Management of fork lifts and fork lift repairs.
  • Responsible for management of MRO storeroom and spare parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Managerial experience and abilities
  • Knowledge of purchasing, supplies, grounds keeping and equipment repair
  • Analytical skills
  • Knowledge of rules and regulations of OSHA, EPA and all other regulatory agencies.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses and steel toe shoes. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Long hair touching shoulders should be pinned up securely so as not to touch shoulders.

Successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management is preferred or 10 years of relevant work experience.
