About the Role

We're on the lookout for a compassionate and patient-centric Orthodontist to join our esteemed Founding Clinical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape patient care, collaborating closely with fellow oral health professionals and specialists, as well as partnering with Ritual's product and technology teams. Situated in the vibrant heart of Tribeca, NY, our state-of-the-art office provides an inspiring backdrop for creativity and collaboration. Our facility is designed for both style and comfort, boasting spacious operatory rooms, a dedicated staff lounge, and a patient learning hub to foster enhanced connection. Committed to raising the bar for dental care, we aim to deliver a seamless and exceptional experience for our clients. This is an in person role, based in New York City, with the opportunity to determine your own working schedule.

Responsibilities

Clinical Care:

  • Diagnose and treat malocclusions and misalignments of teeth and jaws.
  • Plan and execute orthodontic treatments, including the use of braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of treatment plans for patients.
  • Monitor progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Patient Education

  • Educate patients and their guardians on orthodontic treatment options and post-treatment care.
  • Provide guidance on oral hygiene practices during orthodontic treatment.
  • Counsel patients on habits that may impact orthodontic outcomes.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with general dentists, oral surgeons, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Maintain effective communication with the dental team to facilitate smooth operations and uphold high-quality care standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated with the latest orthodontic practices and technologies

Qualifications & Skills

Must Have

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution
  • Current NY license to practice Orthodontics
  • Completion of an Orthodontic Residency Program
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on patient education
  • Ability to manage patients with sensitivity and patience
  • 2 or more years of experience as an Orthodontist

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a tech enabled company
  • Board Certification in orthodontics

Pay, Perks & Benefits at Ritual

The base pay for this role is $1500 daily rate, plus production bonus. Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws.
