Rite-Solutions, Inc, is currently seeking an Information Technology Cyber Specialist focusing on Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) on-site support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT). The technician will provide support with regards to Information Technology (IT) and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity requirements and security of information systems.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to evaluate system and network configurations for compliance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG)
• Knowledge with NIST/ DoD Risk Management Framework Process
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely updates and troubleshooting issues to maintain functionality
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of application for maximum productivity
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and end users on the progress of data within the application to improve performance
• Implements system changes and administers access to systems and information
• Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following command procedures and policies
• Contribute to technical support documentation of resolutions, processes, and procedures
• Able and willing to learn new as well as existing technologies
• Be a contributing member of a Technical Team

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of DISA's quarterly release schedule of Security Technical Implantation Guides (STIGs)
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills: multitasking, working individually and with a team, having a positive attitude, being self-motivated and reliable, being trustworthy, having strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, and being able to handle stress in a professional manner
• Ability to think with a security mindset
• Capability for problem-solving, decision-making, sound judgment, and assertiveness

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to the intended audience

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate must be certified (Security CE)
• High school diploma with 3 years' experience
• Ability to obtain a security clearance with the US government; active security clearance preferred
• Military or government experience preferred but not necessary
