Rising Medical Solutions is looking for career oriented professionals that want to utilize their skills and expertise to help injured workers obtain optimal medical and vocational outcomes as they recover from their work injury. Medical case management involves working closely with multiple stakeholders, including healthcare providers, employers, insurance companies, claims professionals, and other Rising team members. Rising case managers work from their home-based offices, traveling as needed to provider appointments. By coordinating efforts and facilitating communication between all parties, case managers can ensure a smooth and efficient process for injured workers' medical treatment and recovery.
Nurses are trained to consider the physical, emotional, and social aspects of patient care. By becoming a Rising Medical workers' compensation medical case manager, you can apply this holistic approach to injured workers' health and well-being. You will assess and coordinate various medical services, rehabilitation programs, and social support systems to ensure the best comprehensive care is provided.
Requirements
Candidates will have a strong background in at least one of the following specialties: industrial rehabilitation nursing, medical case management, occupational health, orthopedics, home health care, utilization review, or quality assurance
Familiarity with regional physicians
CCM, and COHN-S/CM are optional but highly valued
Ability to drive to appointments within a 2-hour radius
Active, unencumbered registered nursing license with a minimum of 5 years' experience
