Rising Hope Clinical Assistance of GA is Hiring a Mental Health Specialist Near Atlanta, GA

About us

Rising Hope Clinical Assistance of GA is an outpatient counseling agency that specializes in integrative therapeutic approaches, focusing on improving whole health and wellness. Treatment teams are comprised of licensed professionals and mental health specialists dedicated to providing a comprehensive and approach to mental healthcare. Work environment includes a flexible work schedule.

RHCAGA is seeking qualified mental health professionals to perform case management and skill-building work, facilitating the treatment plan process for clients referred for services. The primary role of the Mental Health Specialist is to provide services based on medical necessity, consistent with clinical recommendations and client needs; considering the vulnerability of our client population, MHS are required to provide the necessary PSR/Case Mgmt./CSI/Family Skills Training at least initially to mitigate multiple client needs and increase positive treatment outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide behavioral or skill-building interventions that are identified on clients’ individual service plan
  • Provide case management services, coordinating services with various agencies in order to ensure on-going assessment and follow-through of treatment plans.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation of all completed and attempted client contacts, contact with service providers, agencies, and organizations.
  • Attend weekly/bi-monthly team meetings, attend trainings as well as All Staff Meetings.
  • Perform and submit timely required clinical documentation

Essential Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Considerable knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methods.
  • Considerable knowledge of case management principles and methods.
  • Considerable knowledge of human services and health resources in the community.
  • Working knowledge of computerized program software, internet access, and database, spreadsheet and word processing programs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, their families, service providers, colleagues, and the general public.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to mental health emergency situations and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
  • Ability to follow all ethical and legal guidelines as prescribed by federal, state, and local standards.

Training and Experience: (Must have)

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services discipline
  • 2 years of experience provident direct care services in healthcare.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
