The Justice for Youth and Families (JYF) Training Coordinator provides full support to all training initiatives for staff of the JYF facilities. The Training Coordinator provides ongoing opportunities for professional development, tracking all certifications and facilitating various training for the department. They serve as the link between the JYF Department and the Training Department by working closely with the Vice President of JYF and those delivering trainings to the JYF employees. The JYF Training Coordinator will lead all training initiatives for the JYF department and directly supervise the JYF Training Specialist.
New Employee Orientation: Works closely with the Talent and Acquisition division of Human Resources, and the Training and Compliance Manager to schedule new employees for orientation. After New Employee Orientation, the Training Coordinator manages all of the JYF Pre-Service Trainings. They ensure that all new employees complete all required pre-service training prior to working within the JYF programs. Reviews and updates training content. Ensures documentation of training is completed on time.
Program Specific Training Compliance: Works with program leadership to ensure that all required training is delivered, tracked, documented, and updated as necessary. Attends and facilitates regular meetings with JYF program managers to discuss training needs and solutions. Collaborate with Training and LMS Specialist to ensure that training plans are created and updated appropriately within the Relias Learning Management System. Manages the HSLC and Cornerstone Workforce systems for JYF employees as needed.
Designing Training Solutions: Designs, creates, and develops training solutions to meet the needs of employees; analyzes and selects the most appropriate strategy, methodologies, technologies, and content to maximize the experience and impact.
Delivering Training Solutions: Delivers training solutions in a manner that engages employees and produces desired outcomes; manages and responds to employee needs; ensures that the solution is made available and delivered in a timely and effective manner. Traveling to program sites as needed to deliver trainings in response to incidents and other program needs.
Measuring and Evaluating Training Solutions: Gathers data to answer specific questions regarding the value or impact of training solutions; focuses on the impact of individual programs and creates overall measures of system effectiveness; leverages findings to increase effectiveness; provides recommendations for change.
Salary/Pay Rate: $72,000/annually
Supervisory Responsibility: No
Work Environment: Hybrid work schedule with 2 remote workdays per week. (Subject to change due to training needs)
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel (if required): Must be able to travel to various hubs and programs to conduct training.
