Job Summary:

Rise Wellness Center is seeking hard-working, driven, and dedicated LVN/RN to join our team. We are a 6-bed, coed residential detox program in Van Nuys, CA.

Responsibilities:

*Document hourly vital signs and rounds reports on all clients in their first 24 hours of detox.

*Administer detoxification protocols (COWS, CIWAS, Vitals Assessments) on detoxifying clients per doctor's orders.

*Document shift reports, supervise self-administration of medication

*Coordinate with attending physician and pharmacy via email.

*Entering and faxing Doctor's Orders.

*Crisis intervention and de-escalation.

*General cleaning and maintaining the therapeutic atmosphere.

*Some driving may be requested.

*Ensure clients are adhering to facility rules.

*Complete new admission intake procedures (UA, belongings search, intake assessment, etc.)

*Complete controlled medication counts at the beginning and end of each shift change.

*Adhere to DHCS standards of care.

*Other duties may be assigned on a as needed basis.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour.

*Expected hours: 40 per week.

Requirements:

*Experience: Nursing: 1 year (Preferred).

*License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred)LVN (Preferred).

*Ability to Commute: Van Nuys, CA.

*Ability to Relocate: Van Nuys, CA.

*Relocate before starting work (Preferred).

*Work Location: In person.
