Position Responsibilities By Department

Executive Operations:

• Assist Executive Operations management with monthly reports that go directly to Uline’s President.
• Create competitor analysis covering topics such as websites, catalogs, operations, etc.
• Perform audits of departments including Purchasing, IT, Quotes, Sales, Accounting, etc.

Facilities:

• Create, manage and analyze various reports using Excel, SQL, Power BI or other technology to present to management.
• Analyze data sets regarding Repair and Maintenance Accounts to provide valuable insights to senior leaders for budgeting and forecasting.
• Work on cross-functional projects that will be implemented and used by the company long term.

International:

• Perform weekly analysis of international customers' feedback concerning the marketing and shipping processes for Uline to present to senior leaders.
• Create ad-hoc analysis for the Director of International Operations.
• Assist with monthly reports that go directly to Uline’s President.

Quotes:

• Collaborate with Corporate and Branch Quote teams to provide recommendations on performance and help determine future goals and strategies to be used by the company long term.
• Create reports pulling Quote data using SQL, Excel, and PowerBI.
• Analyze data regarding department performance and company trends.

Sales:

• Create, maintain and troubleshoot dashboards and reports using PowerBI and SSRS.
• Analyze data regarding sales performance, activity and company trends to present to management.
• Own highly visible projects with direct impact to current processes and procedures to be used by the company long term.

Minimum Requirements

• This internship is open to Juniors only.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel. Experience with SQL and PowerBI is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Previous internship or classroom-related project experience in data analysis.
• Clear and professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and team player skills.
• Hardworking and enthusiastic personality.
