Ripple Ranch Recovery is Hiring a Recovery Technician Near Spring, TX

● Multiple part-time positions available.

Be proficient in understanding and dealing with alcoholism and drug addiction recovery

● Administer Therapeutic Sober Home rules and schedule, supervise and coach clients in daily living skills and activities as defined in Ripple Recovery Ranch (RRR) Code of Conduct for clients and team members

● Able to maintain calm and professional demeanor in potentially high risk, high intensity settings

● Overnight team duties include laundry management, room checks, and checking doors

● Be able to facilitate a therapeutic and safe living environment for clients in the home

● Administer random Urine Analysis testing according to RRR Policies and Procedures and in compliance with laboratory testing requirements

● Observe and document clients’ use of prescribed and approved OTC medications as directed by medical staff

● Transport clients to Ripple Ranch treatment centers, Therapeutic Sober Homes, community 12-Step meetings, recovery community and center activities, or other approved destinations, including medical or personal business appointments

● Work with clinical team to support individual client treatment plans.

● Record interaction pertinent to clients’ therapeutic process and community activities in RRR Client data management software

● Attend weekly Recovery Technician staff meetings

● May be asked to facilitate program group, supervise/attend recreational or experiential activities with clients

● Work well as part of a team and display excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Ensure the safety of clients at all times when in the home, attending outside activities, or during transportation.

Expectation of all RRR staff:

● Performs all job duties within the health and safety guidelines of the organization.

● Performs all job duties within the written guidelines of the behavioral, ethical, and conduct codes of the organization.

● Interacts with clients, fellow employees and visitors to the program in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of open, direct, and assertive communication.

● Ability to apply the concepts of customer service in the workplace. Ability to use good professional judgment. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision.

● Stay current with general knowledge pertaining the addiction treatment.

● Serves as an advocate for all patients in receiving services within the organization and outside the organization, by supporting the rights of patients and communicating information, to all involved parties, in a manner that reduces the stigma of addictions treatment and mental illness and increases awareness

● Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Executive Leadership Team.

● Willingness to participate in requirements as outlined by TJC

● For those in their own recovery for substance abuse, a minimum of 2 years continuous sobriety is required

Qualifications:

● Education: High school diploma/GED

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
